Retouch Pilot 3.1 by Two Pilots is the latest released version of this photo editor for Windows. This software can be used to restore old black-and-white images. It is possible to select the image anywhere with our computer and import it from external devices, such as a scanner, digital camera, USB stick, etc. Once selected, we can rotate and flip, resize, crop, adjust to screen, zoom in and zoom out. The program can remove scratches, marks, damages caused by dampness, etc. It is very easy to restore a missing portion. We can use the mouse as a rubber to get rid of the scratches. Additionally, it can be used to remove any unwanted object from a modern color digital image. We must be patient and apply the tools with most care but the improvements are soon visible, especially when compared with the original picture, which is available all the time by just pressing the “Original image” button. It is always possible to reverse any action. It can run on its own or as plug-in in Adobe Photoshop. We can download the free trial version from the developer’s website. While using the evaluation version, we can only save the edited images as a TIP file. It supports Windows Vista and XP operating systems. |
